A Tucson, Arizona homeowner alerted of an impending home invasion by his security cameras, armed himself and took matters into his hands when four armed suspects attempted to break into his home last week.

In the surveillance video you see a vehicle pull up, and four men run out.

One of them is carrying what appears to be an AR-15 or M-16, a weapon which could be fully automatic.

The robbery happened in broad daylight.

The victim was able to get back inside his house, close his door, semi barricade it, reach for [a] weapon that was easily accessible," says Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Earl Gieron.

The homeowner shot at the suspects. He even put a bullet through the windshield of the suspects car, which is also caught on camera. The four men retreated and took off. All of them remain on the run.

On a side note....here's some great weapon lubricant to protect your 2nd Amendment tools...

MILITEC-1 is a synthetic metal conditioner that performs on all rim fire and center fire firearms, including semi- and fully-automatics of all calibers. MILITEC-1 is applied on all inside and outside metal surfaces of the firearm including the bore.

MILITEC-1 protects the firearms metal surfaces with a constant impregnated molecular bond of synthetic hydrocarbons instead of bathing the metal surfaces like traditional gun oils, also MILITEC-1 will not change the tolerances of the moving parts inside the firearm.

MILITEC-1 does not contain any solids, Teflon PTFE, solvents, metals, viscosity enhancers, chlorinated paraffin's or other harmful ingredients. MILITEC-l is non-hazardous, non toxic, non-combustible, and is approved environmentally for U.S. Navy submarine use.
